This Pinktober, Make Waves in Pink
October arrives in pink. Pink on the skyline, pink on the shoreline, pink worn loud and worn proud.
At Hamac Beach Boutique, we are wearing it to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with breast cancer community efforts. Every wave, every walk along the water, every bold flash of colour carries the message: you are seen, and you are not alone.
Pink, Poured Over Everything
Think sunset on open water. The blush of a shell. A flash of colour against hot white sand. This month, the whole boutique turns toward it. Start with the New In edit and let the pink find you.
Melissa Odabash Caribbean Pink Swimsuit. One piece, pure colour. It's made for the first step onto the beach, when heads turn and the day begins.
Paramidonna. Pink with a pulse. Bold shapes, bright confidence, a piece that looks as good at the water's edge as it does poolside.
Melissa Odabash Anna Rose Open Front Kaftan. Open front, easy movement, rose in every fold. Let it fall from the shoulders as you walk from sand to table, and let the breeze do the rest.
In the Water & Off the Sand
Swimwear is where the statement begins, so choose the cut that feels like you, whether a bikini, swimsuit, burkini, rashguard or swim shorts, and find your shade of pink. But pink doesn't stop at the shoreline: slip a cover-up over your swimsuit and walk straight into lunch, reach for a dress that moves like water or a playsuit for easy elegance, and add a sweatshirt or jacket when the evening cools. Finish with sunglasses that turn the world rosy, a bag for the day, a scarf, pareo or jewellery that catches the light, and a hat, towel and sandals to complete the look. A little pink goes a long way, so wear one piece or wear it all.
Names Worth Wearing
Hamac has always been about the right label in the right light. This month, look to the brands that bring colour to the shoreline, from Camilla and Chiara Ferragni to Faithfull The Brand, Kendall + Kylie and Le Specs, alongside our own Hamac label.
Why Pink, Why Now
Pink in October is more than a colour. It's a conversation. It belongs to every woman who has faced breast cancer, every family that has stood beside her, and every voice that keeps the message going.
So wear the colour. Share the message. Remind someone you love to book their check-up.
